what can of Joint are you using for the reflector?
is it a ball joint?

I'm using 2 hinges rotated by 90 deg.

I don't understand why you would want to do this. Why not just hang your reflector a few inches higher so the light spread covers the entire tank. Its not like clouds move that fast in nature.

what a good idea. nice move, sir.

thinking about doing two of these on my tank. might make for some nice light variations.

You could probably also do something similar using a ceiling fan mount with the ball and socket. They are designed to be able to wobble.

Keep those original ideas and designs coming.

Looks like a PVC cap motor mount?

I happen to be,
insane

Yeah, that's a good idea. Would also give it a nicer, cleaner look.

Insane, your avatar is confusing me. I keep doing a double take every time I see it because I keep seeing Albert Einstein and then I notice it's just your dog instead. Sort of like an optical illusion.
