I'm building a 4' T8 2x OVRNO canopy for a 55 gal. seagrass tank and wanted to know how close I can fit the lights together before it would cause heat problems.
I want to fit 8 bulbs, but the spacing would be 3/7". Is that too close? Other options would be 7 bulbs with 2/3" spacing or 6 bulbs with 1" spacing.
I intend to use fans, but I don't really know how much I need. I would appreciate it if anyone with experience in canopies can help me out here. Thanks
