Does anyone raise thier own Phytoplankton and/or zooplankton?

I was thinking about picking up a couple of 10G tanks and giving this a try.

DT's is great, but there is no way I can afford to feed it every other day...

you don't need ten gallon tanks for phytoplankton - clean 2 litre bottles, some clean airline tubing, some air pumps and a grow light - I've used regular blue grown lights left on 24x7 and I have used PC bulbs on an 8 hour cycle - the regular plant grow bulb did a heckuva a lot better.

I use 1 gallon glass jars. Phyto mature in about 1 week. I also grow copepods that I harvest every 1-2 weeks. Florida aqua farms has all the stuff you need for growing phyto. I boil my water change water and use that for the cultures. Never shut the light off. Seems to work for me.
