Please excuse my ignorance I am new to all this: I am currently running a water hose with an attachment that came with my RO/DI unit that takes it down to the smaller hose which runs directly into my RO/DI unit. Previously this worked just fine but I have now moved into a house that apparently has higher water pressure causing the smaller hose to not want to stay attached. After a few hours the pressure shoots the smaller hose off the nipple. I have tried hose clamps and even vice grips but the hose eventually tears. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Please, get rid of that hookup as soon as possible. That is probably the most ghetto way of hooking up an RO unit as you can get.
