Hey I want to make some also. WarDaddy, I think it was you and I who were originally talking about doing this. I am new to the Tampa area. Whats the deal about the meeting on Saturday? None the less, I WANT TO MAKE ROCK

I am getting ready to start a tank in a few months. Let me know where, when, what to bring other than beer, or I can bring some money to chip in. Let me know.

Sounds like there are enough of us, more than one, less than 15, that are interested.
I would be willing to have the "workshop" at my place.
I do not want to wait until April (I am jonesing to get my tank up) to schedule this as the next official meeting. Let me check with the boss (wife) and see what a good Saturday in the next couple would be to do this.

what about march 31st weekend. I think I could have a few other reefers come in from Jax Bch. They all want to make some rock to. Next weekend the 24th is bad for me.

i've been thinking of making some for a fake backwall ... LR backwall for the tank.
my parents live on a canal thats 100ft off the caloosahatchee river ... i've been thinking of dropping the rocks & fake wall into their canal behind the house ... maybe wrapping it in some chicken wire & putting a rope on it so i can find it down the road when i need to retrieve it.
i'd think this would allow the concrete to cure in maybe 3 weeks? there is LOTS of flow obviously.

I have told a couple buddies from Jax Bch about it. They are in the NEFMAS and I am sure they would liek to make rock also.

The more the marrier.
I will try and do a test some time in the next week. Get an Idea of what we will need, as it takes shape I will get a list of stuff togeather that we need. I can do a bulk buy of the key stuff and then charge a modest fee for each person. The stuff is cheap.
I am sure we can find a couple salt buckets around to mix in

Hey War Daddy, I have a buddy that can come up the 31st and the 7th. Just to remind you, alot of people might be doing stuff on the weekend of the 7th, it is Easter Sunday and some people might have plans this weekend. Why don't we just do it the 30th? Is that cool with everyone?
War Daddy- do you want to make a list of what we need and how much. Then we can either split out tasks to buy materials or if you dont want to rely on others, just tell everyone ahead of time how much we owe you and then we can all give you cash.
If you need help Iwill be more than willing to assist.

30th of March, in to weekends, and then the 7th of april. This is dates we are talking about. I was just thinking alot of people might have prior commitments because of the easter weekend. Just a thought..

I can bring the wheel barrow. My bad on the dates, I was thinking the 7th was the sunday and my chik probally has plans for me already that I am unaware of at this moment in time. 7th- i'm cool.
