DIY Rocks

For everybody bringing stuff, I'd also recommend grabbing a $3 bag of Morton's water softener salt (brown bag at HD) in case you want to use it in the mix or use it as a mold for your rocks (what I do). Sand works as a mold as well, but I personally prefer salt. Without a mold material, all your rocks have flat bottoms

for some reason i planned it for today. i wanted to make some rocks and give them as christmas gifts...

I was planning to head to Denny's on the 5th for the rock making shin-dig, but a close friend of 20 years is having a family/friends gathering that day, so I am gonna have to pass on the DIY rock fun....
