DIY skimmer for simplicity buitin sump

any ideas/comments on taking the concept of the cpr bak pak and building it inside the sump. essentially the bak pak but on the inside of a sump. so it would be built on the inside, making for a cleaner look. This should be somewhat easy to make using acrylic.

i think it would be difficult to get water into and out while maintaining the ability to adjust the height of the skimmer body.
