Frizz, what kind of skimmer do you have and what kind of pump are you using?

.

Pretty sure that is is this one ASM G1x
it has a Sedra pump.

The pump dies & I bought a new impeller but it didn.t bring it back to life. Then I bought a new pump & it is dead. I don't think that the pump was defective but that I was neglectful & did not notice that it wasn't working until it was too late to save. I have an extra mag but the fittings to this skimmer seem very specific to the sedra pump. I am not handy enough to fix it.

I want one too!! you guys could make a killing on this. Plus we all would have a good skimmer that doesn't cost us 2000 dollars. lol

We are waiting for our patten to come back. :D

Cool. So what are you looking at as far asa timeline goes? Can I expect you folks to possibly have something by tax refund season this year or had I best make a different purchase because y'all have quite a wait ahead?

You should have used that bucket of oceanic for the collection cup :D

Is the bubble plate removable for cleaning?

Looks INSANE & high quality for a DIY. Very impressed!

Your skimmer looks great guys, and excellent acrylic skills you two have.

You know, working with acrylic is just like making cabinets and raised panel doors, it gets much easier and cheaper when you make 50 at a time while your jigs are set up.

Bigred, did you guys use a cnc to make the holes? Looks Great!

I have a friend that made the pieces for it which has a cnc machine. He has a website but he's not a sponsor so I can't post his site. If you want info PM me.
