DIY Stand for a 75g

I just thought that i`d share my stand build. I was in need of a stand that would be capeable of housing a sump so this is what I built. Well it`s not quite finished but almost!!

looking good. Don't think that baby will have any problem supporting the tank, or a person with a 500 lb barbell jumping on top of the tank.

nice job on building an over kill stand. most of us that build our own stand do the same thing for peace of mind. i built mine out of 2x6 and 3/4 plywood the thing has to weigh close to 300lbs

looks great. You did check to make sure you could get your sump in there right?

Yep, I believe in one of my pics its in there.. But yes the sump does fit in it.

It`s a 29g.

nice stuff. what are the dimensions(sp) for it? i am pondering the thought of making a stand for my 75g as well

50x20 but that only left me with like 14 inches of inside with so if you wanted to go with a 30long like i wanted it wont work. id say get your sump first and build around it. The stand is 36 tall.
