Ok I don't know whats it's called but I need one. It has around ten red toggle switches or something like that. What's it called and where can I get one.

never thought about using something like that instead of power strips. would be a whole hell lot easier than unplugging things every time. might just have to buy me one

i got one from guitar center and got the protection plan and they have replaced it once already covered in the salt creep

I was at someone's house picking up some frags an dthey had a very nice set up, and they were using the switches. I am setting up a frag tank and figured I would try to clean all the wires up from the display tank.
Otisfor me, do remember what they were going for at guitar center?

$30 at Guitar Center, love mine no more unplugging cords or turning off/on timers.
How do you handle timers with these?

The plugs are alot farther apart than you would think you can place a timer for each plug, just have to remember when you flip the switch off that the timmer stops running too. I just a timer for a fuge light so only one timer is used.

As far as mounting you can cut out a hole and flush mount it. I mounted mine on the side of a 2x4 in my stand screwing the top to another 2x4 and the bottom to a peice of blocking I mounted.

There is thread where a guy used a shelf, screwed it to the sides of the shelf and used hinges and window locks to allow it to swing down so you could access the plugs. I would do this if it was going in my display stand.

There is another I like better but thats the idea just use window locks at the hinge to lock the unit in place.
