dkh/alk need little help please

i tested ,,,last week tested reading at dKH14.4 then alk 5.14meq/l so now it go up to 15.7dkh ,alk 5.60meq/l seem like it going up from 5.14meq to 5.60meq/l
been using turbo cal to bump from 370 to 400 now,,,
how do i get the meq/l down to below 3.0mq/l?? or should i just wait>??
the tank is 120g total ,,,been running about 5-6 month now,,,thank for all help

What are your calcium requiring inhabitants? Test every day on both to see what your daily alk and ca demands are. I would bet you don't know what your mag is testing at. Chances are it is way low, if under 1250, then it will be hard to maintain a consistent balance between CA and ALK. If you are not testing Mag, I would start. It is just as important as testing the other 2...... JMO....Good luck.....
