Do a second round of hypo?

Well, apparently I miss judged something and now have another case of ich brewing. All fish have been hypoed before, so, if I do this again, it will be thier second time around. Do you think they have fully recovered from thier first bout and can handle a secound round?

I have heard that it dies off after so many ich cycles, as too much inbreeding, but, I have not got a 100% consensous on this though.

I am also thinking of taking out all my snails and inverts, 4 cups of sand and just pulling the main tank down to 1.009 with the fish in there. Its going to be a pain to get either the fish or the shrimp, but, when all is said and done, I only need to get 3 shrimp out and the snails are slow, I think I can catch them, lol. I dont really want to kill everything in the main tank, but, I tried a tub before. Was cumbersome and I could not really see the fish. I figure this way,

1) Everyone stays in the main tank comfy, less stress.

2) Easier...MUCH easier... to see fish and watch thier reactions.

3) I have my reactor already setup, can run carbon out the whahoo if needed.

4) Any ick whatsoever would be killed off, no if's and's or but's, unless it is one of those 1.009 resistant strains.

5) I still get to enjoy my fish in my tank.

6) I will have some old sand to re-establish my copepods and ampipods.

7) I can use my skimmer!!!!!!

Fish list (which I would rather not try to catch, lol):

Midas blenny
chalk bass-let(?)
2 green goby's
1 yellow goby
YWG
pink/blue spot goby
Lawnmower blenny

I would QT the fish in a seprate tank to let the ich die off in the main tank by itself. If you hypo the main tank almost everything dies off (worms, pods, etc..). Hypo the tank the fish are in for 8 weeks. I had mine at 1.09 for 8 weeks. Took a few days to drop it down and another week to raise it up slowly. About 10wks total

Hmmm, not sure I want to try to catch a Midas blenny, chalk bass-let(?), 2 green goby's, 1 yellow goby, YWG, pink/blue spot goby and a Lawnmower blenny. :D

I am not too worried about the pods and worms, which I know I dont have a lot of anyways, but, I do have a heart for the bacteria in there. Then again, saving some sand would be a good thing too to re seed.
