i have a maroon pair that i got last Monday... i'm having troubles feeding both of the fishes... they eat the food that i give them, but most of the time, they will spit it back out... i have a lot of different frozen foods, flakes and pellets, and they all get the same response from the two fishes... both of the fishes' stomachs are bulging so i know they are not starving... but it will just make me feel better to see them eat...

they are not fish fry's but i was wondering if they would eat newly hatched baby brine shrimps...?

my b/w clowns did not eat for awhile and would do the same as spitting it out...I just fed very small quantities every other day and now they both love the baby brine shrimp. Also Formula one would work it was specifically designed for clownfish. Heard of some garlic dip for frozen foods that might help.

Try to stay away from brine...it isn't as rich in vitamins as other foods...mysis shrimp, spirulina, formula one, cyclopeeze are all good foods for them, also you can try garlic guard to help get their attention on the food
