Do angels eat algea?

Will dwarf angelfish (namely the flame, coral beuty, and cherub) eat GHA?

All of my dwarfs eat algae, but have never seen them eat hair algae.

My regal eats algae, that's probably the only thing I see it eat, compared to the prepared foods I give it.

my emperor eats cyano even ! hair algae and ... too ... corals too ... my fingers too when in tank ... it eats everything ...

+1 I've kept multiple varieties and yet to see one eat HA.

There are many things that people call "hair algae," some which will be eaten and some which will not. I had a cherub that cleaned my tank of some sort of filamentous algae in a matter of a week. All of my current angels - majestic, multibar, singapore - eat nori and will pick at algae growing on rocks. I've also had bryopsis before, which no fish would touch.
