Do any t-5 fixtures work on a 10 gallon

regular 10 gallon, want a way to light it up that looks good in an office setting, i have seen some fixtures with "legs" but most seem to be too long for a 10 gallon. Please steer me in the right direction. Thanks.

sorry, the shortest i have found is 24". that is atleast for the spectrums the aquariusts want. you can find shorter at Lowes/HD, but they are usually under 6700K.

Yep, at least the High Output (H.O.) ones are 24" minimum... If you upped to a 15 or a 20H you could do the 24" ones. Or have a custom tank built. PC's are your only viable option for a 10...

you could go with Current's standard NOVA T5 retro kits, they are 9W T5 complete strip lights with one bulb for $16 at marineandreef.com , they are a great set of lights and i used them on my 40G breeder and everything is doing great in it so far, i would go with 2-10,000K and 2-Actinic retrofits and you have 36W of light over a 10G tank and its only 64 without shipping

yeah, your coices for a 20" tank are either T5NO, PC quad bulb, or MH.

I had a 96W PC Quad bulb fixture on my 10 when I had one. The light was only 100$ and did a nice job lighting up the tank (coralife).

can't comment on the other lighting methods though.
