Do Birds Nest change colors?

Picked up this birds nest on Sat. It has some pink on it in certain areas. You can see some of it in the pic below.

Will this coral change it's colors (pink perhaps), or stay the same?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to the SPS genre.

Yes ... it can .... but it all depends on on how it adapts to your tank conditions ... I have had a stylophora pistillata (related) change from dark green to pink in 3 months ... though I have since lost it because of shifting the position of the coral ...

And a similar colored bird's nest and poci elegans turn to pink and red respectively.

It should color up, Mine seems to like pretty bright lighting, when I had it under my centerbrace without the 3rd halide it started to green up when moved out from underneath it is pink again.
