Do clownfish eat macroalgae?

Looking for a good macroalgae nano tank mate; considering a clownfish, but do they eat macroalgae? They are omnivores, but I have never read about them actually eating plants.

I have true and false percula clowns with caulpera and cheato. They never bother the plants or eat them. As far as clown diet, they will take meat or veggie pellets, flakes, or sometimes nori seaweed bits flowing in the water.

I think you should be okay.

they do eat pods within plants though.
