Do copepods prefer lights 24-7?

I am setting up a refugium and wanted to run the lights 24-7. I was curious if this would harm the copepods or if they need some down time with lights out? I was not sure which forum to post this question in so I decided here would be the the most appropriate.

IME and from what I've read saltwater mysis require a "night" period because that is when they mate. I am not sure about other pods. I had no shortage when I ran fuge lights on 24/7 so some of them must have been reproducing. My mysis population did decline though.

I think I will run it 24/7 and see how it goes. I was not thinking of raising mysis. but I was considering brine shrimp. I wander how they would do.
