Do diamond gobies pair?

i read on the interwebs that diamond gobies pair up like clown fish, is this true?
i am upgrading to a 120 gallon and was thinking of grabbing my diamond a buddy

In the wild you always find them in pairs.
Also, gobies are known to change sex, many both ways.
