Do Euphyllia die with their mouths open?

I couldn't get back to my tank for 48 hours + which exceeded the life of my backups ... trying to assess the damage. There definitely was not enough agitation or oxygenation in the tank - all the frogspawns and lps seem to be in frozen animation with their mouths open. Is this a sign of death? I'm not sure what I should remove or keep out of the tank to keep things from spiking further ...

Thanks in advance

I have my fingers crossed for you that at least some of your livestock made it.

Anyway, you probably have your answer by now, but if it helps, I observed something similar. My tank was without power about 10-12 hrs before I could get my generator going, and my frogspawn and hammers looked kind of how you described. The lights were out, but they were "flopped open." So were several of my softies that would normally be closed up with the lights out.

I left the lights off overnight, and ran a normal light cycle the next day. They looked a little sluggish for most of the next day, but after lights out, they closed up normally, and by day 2 they were pretty much back to normal.
