do I have a chalice or a montipora?

I recently bought a coral at a local frag swap which the seller said was a Montipora Capricornis, but I think is actually some kind of chalice. Any ID help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Looks like a Hollywood Stunner chalice to me, but not 100%

Those look exactly like it, definitely a good $10 pick up then!

I have it low in the tank almost in partial shade right now with moderate flow. Think that will be alright for it?

That should be good. They grow quickly and put out stinger tentacles at night so don't put it near anything defenseless.

That definitely is a nice Hollywood Stunner, keep it away from other corals to prevent any warfare.

wow that's some awesome growth! I actually got two pieces of the coral in my bag at the swap, and the other is shaped very irregularly with tons of edges to grow out from. I'll post a picture of it when I get back home, but hopefully they take off similarly in my tank.

I took the pictures while the lights were off so the coloration isn't there, and It's hard getting a good photo of the second one since it's curved around the old skeleton, but you get the general idea. Really excited about these guys and I'll try to keep posting updates as I see growth
