I was able to get 2 Puppy packs of Interceptor free.
Each pill contains 2.3mg of milbemycin oxime. How many gallons can I treat?

thanks

By "packs" do you mean (2) two packages with (6) six tablets each? If so, then you have 27.6mg total. That's a bit more than the largest tablet made (which is 23mg). The 23mg tablet has been recommended for a single 400 gallon treatment.

Your signature indicates you have 45gal tank?? If you are running a 45gal system, then you have roughly 10 times needed for one treatment. I think you're fine running one tab a treatment. (I would add a little shave off of a second tab for good measure), but remember that it's been reported multiple times that the length of application appears to be more crucial than exact amount of Interceptor. Take your time and run the three treatments. And Let us know how it goes.

Oh. To answer your specific question, if you do have the 12 small tabs as I suspect...you can treat 480 gallons. :)

Sorry, I def. wasn't clear on my end. I have two 2-10 lbs. dog pills.

If I read correct a large 51-100 lbs. dog pill contains 23mg of milbemycin oxime. In another thread it states that one pill treats 380g. So 320g divided by 23mg = 13.91. If I'm correct each Mg of milbemycin oxime treats 13.91 gallons of water.
