do i have enough light?

I will have 2 175 watt mh on a 30 gallon tank will this be enough light for keeping clams?
What kinds will i be able to keep with these lights?

if you keep the k rateing between 6500k to 10k you can have any clam that you want.in a 30 g tank Derasa,Gigas and Squamosa will out grow it quick.

Dual 175 MH on a tiny 30 gallon tank makes for a lot of light and definitely intense as well if the tank is under 18 inches tall. I think he can keep Crocea's and Maxima's as well don't you agree?

Crocea's will stay the smalles of all giant clams, than the Maxima's. They're also the most colorful clams but also the most light hungry.

Listen to what's been suggested as far as water quality is concerned. STABLE. You will need to monitor Ca and dKH frequently and be prepared to dose frequently.
