Do I need a heater?

I've been running my two tanks for 4 months and 2 months and in the mornings they sit around 75-76 degrees and after a long day of lighting they sit around 80-82. Is this okay or do I need a heater? It shouldn't shock them how it is considering it's gradual and obviously used to it right?

so your doing a 7 degree temp swing every day? That is way to much way to often. you need a heater and set it for 78 to 80 degrees if 82 is your normal max.

I would add heat and set it around 77 or 78. You don't want to wake up on a cool morning and find your tank at 70

Add the heater, swings like that can kill sometimes. Have you thought about keeping the tank cooler as well? Maybe some fans at the sump?
