Alright, I took out my Seio 1500 for cleaning and once again I am sick and tired of trying to get it to start. GOD FORBID something work when plugged in!!

I don't have the cash to plunk down on a killer Tunze setup, so I was contemplating doing this in stages. If I get a 6100, can I run it without the controller? Thanks.

yes you can run it without the controller, it has a potentiometer on the driver box to change speed.

Thanks for your help!!

Why don't you get the single controller. It is really cheap, let me see if my friend still need his. If he doesn't use it, i can get them for you. But don't quote me on it. I will PM you if i can get one.

Thanks Devil Dog!!

Thanks again. I just ordered the 6100 and a magnet holder from Premium Aquatics. I am in charge of the demo range next month, and have every intention of straping a block of C4 to the Seio and blowing it back to Taiwan. I WILL have pics!!

Well, the 6100 arrived today, so I put it in the tank. Immediately, all the junk and crud that has been hiding behind the rocks and on the sand was blown into the water column. Just what the doctor ordered!! Some day, I will own another, but the price is a bit steep. Glad I didn't go with the next lower model as I really wanted good flow more than I wanted to save money. Those Krauts really know how to engineer!!
