Do I need to clean up after the Sea Hare?

I just picked up a sea hare to help clean up the tank. Immediately the thing went to work. What I'm worried about is all the poop it's leaving behind. This thing won't stop pooping all over the tank. Do I need to remove all the waste?

Great creature... literally grabbing mouth fulls of hair algae likes it's just cutting down trees. I love it.

uh what does the poop look like....it could be just sand ive seen sand shoot out if one before..

btw i just got one today he's HUGE...and yea started eating right away...

Animals that eat alot create a lot of waste, esp. herbivores. If you can get some thin diameter rigid plastic tubing, you can siphon out the waste when doing a water change. Just make sure not to hit your sea hare or any other living inhabitant with the rigid tubing -- it could rip the animal's flesh and possibly kill it.
