I did a comparison in my 125, used a bottle of both DT's and PF, used the DT's til the bottle was empty waited a few weeks and used a bottle of PF, used the recomended dose.
I saw no improvements with DT's, I did notice a difference with the PF. First, the pod population exploded, then more filter feeding worms started opening during the day and my coral's PE was improved.
I still use the PF even though everyone seems to be jumping on the DT's bandwagon. I'm only relaying my experiences, not claiming 1 is better than the other, I don't know enough about it.
I also will use a bottle of reef solution every month or so.
I have tried the oyster eggs and still don't get it????????

It's very possible the improvement you saw was due largely in part to the DT's.

The PF company just does not offer that solution at stores because people would normally dump a whole bottle and wonder why the tank was green ... a less concentrated solution was offered at the stores and the more concentrated has to be ordered directly.

I had heard this from another reefer. I was skittish about the idea, but nope called and asked for a more concentrated solution and the price was exactly the same.

Your confused here. We offer both PFL and PFC to stores and online. There is no need to buy direct from us, just ask you local dealer to buy both.

We do not offer Istant Algae product line (aquaculture version) in consumer sized or priced bottles due to the reason you offerred above. We had more then a few people dump a bottle of IA into their reefs.
