Do mushrooms change colour when stressed?

I bought 2 small pink mushrooms on the weekend and they where a dark green when I got home Will they change back to pink?

They may have been pink because they were starving/dying.

Where they pink when you bought them and green when you arrived at home with them, or were they green a few days later?

I have lots of shrooms that seem to change color when stressed or "shrunken". Have they come around after acclimation?

Maybe the lighting at the store? Maybe you got the wrong mushrooms
