Do mushrooms move?

Do mushrooms move around on a rock or do they stay put? I have one that I think may be moving, but considering how much it and all the others around it expand and contract during the day I really can't tell.

Yes, they can move from point A to point B on a rock if the mood strikes them. Or they can just let go and drift away.

when mine move they usually leave babies in there trail

This is actually a clone moving away from the original, but I'll keep an eye out.

When they split they will walk away just enough for them both to open and not over shadow the other untilt he foot heals then it may move agian or jump ship and find a new place to live. If your lucky it will leave babies in it's wake and they to will spread out.

I just purchased some purple shrooms. Two of them splitted and left behind two small shrooms. Cool!!!
