Do pepperment shrimp eat rics?

I have had a blue ric in my tank for 5-6 months and have decided to add to. So I buy a couple of neon green rics and immediately the pepperment goes to work. The shrimp picked at the rics the first night and has left them alone for about a week. This evening it started again. More than anything it looks like it is aggravating the hell out of the rics. Will the shrimp eventually kill the rics or is this a normal behavior and the rics will be alright? Thanks,

I have some peperment shrimp in mny frag tank, an they crawl over everything ..if ya got two of them they will munch aptasias, they do mine when i get on in on a swwet frag that noone wants because it has aptasias on it...but i dont think they will harm your rics...

The thing is if they keep doing what there doing, ya, they'll ultimately wither away. I have had peppermints rape and pillage any and every polyp they could get there firey little hooks on. And like what you see being displayed in your tank it finally stressed a flower anenome I had in mine so bad it withered away, they almost got my RBTA untill I got a maroon to host it :smokin: Just another a cautionary side to the coin.

I've seen my peppermint shrimp tear into my frogspawn for no reason at all.. I wouldn't put it past them to eat a ric.. Im not a huge fan of peppermint shrimp.
