Do Tomatoe clowns have a host preference?

Mine larger older one seems to hand out around a large rock with a hole in it.

It sleeps sideways on the bottom, wedged under a live rock cliff near the bottom.

The new one hangs out near a small rock next to the big rock
He sleeps in the same spot on the bottom sand.

I want to get anemones.. is there a certain type they prefer?

would a LBTA and a short tentacle BTA live safely together?? Just a thought. I have a neon BTA that my tomato loves. I know that different species of nems will not get along.

Of course they dont get along. Just be sure to have enough room in your tank so that they never run into each other.

How big is your tank? I love the carpets but they are trickier to keep than the buble tip. If you have never kept a host anemone before you may try the bubble tip first because they are more forgiving. You could try a carpet but research anemones first.
I think there is a thread at the beginning of this forum called everything you ever wanted to know about host anemones. Highly receomend it.

a 120 would be fine for a carpet. What kind of lighting and overall tank set up do you have?
