Do you feed by day, or by night?

I've noticed that unlike LPS corals, many of my SPS seem to have more PE by day than by night, with the exceptions of my digitata and millepora, which are always have great extension round the clock.

Do people who feed coral foods like oysterfeasrt, rod's food, etc do so by day, night, or both for their SPS?

I tend to feed refrigerated foods by day, and then target feed my LPS and the SPS that look hungty at night.

There was an article I read awhile ago that talked about how feeding during the day is possibly better than feeding at night.

Interesting article. thanks.

One flaw I see with their study is that they failed to measure chronic effects of daytime vs nighttime feeding. It's unclear from their research if either type of feeding provides a net increase in calcification over a length of time even as short as a week or two. Interesting nonetheless.
