Do you keep zoanthids & shrooms w/ your Magnifica?

Hello,

The main focus of the tank will be for this anemone. I'm wondering if I can fill in some spots with Ricordea Florida and zoanthids?

How about a clam? (maxima, 3")

Or just better to only have the one anemone. My plan is to put this nem in first with rock and sand. Then the clowns and others if okay.

Thanks very much for the input.

Definately want to go the dedicated specie tank route. Too many things can cause these nems to crash. Keep it as simple as possible.

mine stings everything when it decides to move but with in a day my shrooms come out of it would be better in its own tank

It can be done.

It can be done.

I've had and an Heteractis Magnifica for 6 years and I keep everything on your list in my tank as well. My only suggestion is to introduce the clowns at the same time as the anemone. I have no proof, except for my 'nem, its 2 clones, and my buddies nem all of which never moved after they were placed in their new home.

Best of Luck, and be sure to post lots of pics!

Joe

JP, Totally awesome Heteractis- and cloning too! Next clone could live happily at the Savader Aquarium in Indiana! Just let me know the $$$.

And, can you identify the green leafy organism in front of your Nem on the last pic?

Thanks!
