Do you need a kalkreactor / stirrer if you already plan on using a calcium reactor? Won't the calcium reactor provide Ca and alkalinity just as well as a kalk chamber?
Using a kalk reactor will help keep your PH up. When Co2 is used and released into your water from a calcium reactor, it lowers your PH. They kind of work hand in hand.
If you choose not to use one, I would definitely get a ph controller to shut off your reactor in case your ph drops too low.
