Do you think they will pair up?

I have a very small 1"-1 1/2" GS maroon clown, was given a 2.5" 3" GS maroon. I put the bigger one in the tank and there hasn't really been any physical interaction. The smaller one will swim slowly toward the larger and the larger will swim at it and then the smaller one will swim away. The larger one took over the smaller ones anemone and the smaller one didn't fight back.Do you think I am going to have a problem or do you think they will pair up?

As you may know, maroons are some of the hardest clowns to pair. I don't know how long they've been in there together, but I get the impression that the fight, if there was going to be one, would have happened immediately and been pretty awful.

Keep an eye on them.

They have been in the tank together for a few hours now, and no physical aggression has been made, the big one just jumps at the little one and he swims away.
