I use a Phosban reactor too and have noticed a difference.

How many hours are you guys running yours? I noticed a significant drop in alk with mine running 24hrs so I have it running off the same timer as my lights.

im using an aqualifter pump for my ca reactor.. i was thinking about putting phosban in the prefilter instead of the filter sponge

PO4 media and ozone do different things, have different side-effects, and benefits/dangers. IMO, read on both, decide for yourself.

Ok, as a first time Phosban user, how much should I start with? I've got about 150g water volume. The reactor came with 150grams of phoban, so how much?

1 gram per gallon but i use hafe that just to be safe
