Do you use special glue on pvc in tank?

Well the only pics i have found are pics of pauls tank he set up (amazing by the way) of using pvc to stack rock. My tank is only 55 gal though so i will be doing it differenty. I really dont know what im going to do im just going to try to make an arch somehow. Is there a special glue that i should use on the pvc not to hurt the living things in tank?? We'll were going to go try and find some cpvc that is smaller to use and i hope that holds the weight of the rock. any suggestions would help.

I just used 1/4 inch pvc and drilled holes completely through the rock, for the base I used a t fitting and extended the pvc out for stability. Covered in sand and never know its there. Made an arch, and on one side and a tree formation on the other. No glue was used. Hope this helps.

You can drill the live rock slowly and use a small dia PVC or plastic dowl rods

I used 1/2 nylon rod and marine epoxy, and a few zipties. drill with reguler drill bit and go slow, it's not all that hard. I made a big arch in my 150. I wanted to make suer it wouldn't fall even through the earthqaukes we've been having out this way. pm me your number and I'll send you a couple of pics
