Probably asked many times but do Zoas grow or do more polyps just multiply? Ive seen pictures of some big polyps but not sure if that's how they start. Thank you.
the mat spreads and they grow new polyps. the individual polyps start small when they first develop then hit a standard size fairly quick. its thought that they grow a little when reaching for light but usually the large polyps are just unique to that particular type of zoa.
