I don't believe so, I think only the 9001 will fit. The 9004 only fits some of the larger Red Sea, Sera and IM all in ones. The skimmer would need an area of 4.5" by 3.5" to allow intake of water (it is 4.3" by 3.5") and it needs to be submerged about 9-9.5".

I didn't see any filter compartment dimensions on the Fluvial site, if there is an area of 4.75 by 3.5" it will work, the skimmer is 4.3 by 3.5 but we need room for the water intake. It needs to be submerged about 9"

4 inches from false wall to back glass- I think I would have to clip it on a baffle instead of the back glass, because it looks like from back (suction cups/clip to front) is the 4.3 inch clearance and side to side is the 3.5 inch width?

You can turn it to face either direction as long as their is a wall you can attach the magnets to, both magnet halves are waterproof.
