DOC Nano Skimmer 9002 Not Taking Air

I have had a DOC nano skimmer 9002 running for 3 days. So far no bubbles. The pump is not drawing any air from the tube. I checked that the line is not blocked. I've tried the air adjustment screw in all sorts of positions from all the way closed to all the way off. I'm only getting water out of the air line. Any clue what I could be doing wrong?

This tank has been running for over a year. This skimmer is replacing another skimmer, not a Tunze, that was skimming fine.

So water is coming out of the tube rather than air being sucked in? If you pull the brown piece that holds the green pipe on the pump off. A white nozzle should be underneath, the manual shows this. The elbow should go in about 1/2 way and go through this white nozzle as well as the brown one. Let me know and I can send any piece you need but it may just not be in right.

Yes, water is coming out of the air tube.

I know the piece you are talking about. When I took it apart last night, the elbow was all the way in as far as it could go. I never thought about adjusting that piece. I will look at it again tonight and see if I can make get it to go.

After an hour of playing around with it, I finally got it to take in air. I flipped the elbow around so that the side that was connected to the tubing is not insterted into the nozzle. That end of the elbow looked a hair long and that seemed to do the trick.
