DOC Skimmer 9010 dimensions w/ water outlet

Roger,
I want to put a 9010 in my small sump/refugium and have very limited space in the filter compartment. Can you tell me what the 4.9" dimension increases to when the water outlet (skimmer extension) is attached?

Sorry if this has been answered before - I could not find it.

It will safely fit in a 5 by 7 area with the outlet attached.

How about 4-5/8" x 7" - will that work?

I just checked, it should work but if possible I would leave more space so it is easier to work on.
