Will the doc skimmer make more or less noise compared to the older models?

I have never seen or heard tunze comline in action, is it any louder thatn you average venturi skimmer? I have/had a Berlin Turbo with a MAG700 pump. How would the new compare?

I don't think a skimmer could be any quieter, virtually no noise except a slight barely audible whistle and the sound of bubbles breaking.

Is 3131/2 the model number for the DOC skimmer rated at 21Watts? I saw this model in a German online vendor's catalogue.

3131/2 is long since discontinued, that is over 2 years old. It was very finicky and I wouldn't recommend it. The DOC skimmer equivalent is 9010 and it will also be 21W.
