Their maximum size is 39cm. I plan on keeping one in my 125. And to be perfectly honest I have never seen one over a foot, the 20 times or so, I've been out on the local (Ft. Lauderdale/Keys) reefs, where there's ten's and ten's of them swimming around in big groups.
Here's my 3" guy in a holding tank before the move to my 55gal QT:
Thanks! Actually I got him from an LFS down in Ft. Lauderdale, and brought him back up to Orlando.
The fish behind him was a Multi-Barred Angel. He unfortuntely was lost when the tang caused a rock slide onto the angel, who was sleeping under some chaeto in the holding tank. Completely my fault. Multi-Barred angels are quite rare, especially at the size he was (1.5") and with his appetite.

He pretty much ate anything I feed. Mysis, Rod's Food, scallop shivers, and pellets/flakes, the food just had to 'settle' on the tank bottom or on the rocks first. The day before I lost him, he started eating out of the water column.
