Does a cleaner gobies (Tank-raised) really work?

Hello! ! picked up a pair of cleaner gobies and wanted to know if the really work?
I have a ich problem and got them because... Who could turn down a offer of a fish that looks pretty and do a good job? Just one problem, Do they do their job and has anyone seen this happen?

That sucks, well its sure is a good thing i have a bottle of coppersafe!

Well, at least I got them on sell for only 7 bucks each! Too bad i only got a few months to enjoy them.:angryfire:

No, they are excellent fish, just not useful for parasite eradication. However, I do not think you can have more than one in your sized tank.

Well i have a pair and was hoping to get a bonded pair. Turns out they were just two males!

I had one in my 55 for about 6 months very cool how it poked its head out of the rocks never cleaned any of my fish though.
