Crazy question but i have to ask...this is what i have
40 gal breeder....sps dominated
2 x LEDs fixtures
each with the following:
25x 3W whites (12-14 k)
30x 3W blues (460-470 nm)
Max lux : 2200
120 degree angle
These are not high end Crees...so...the lights are still too bright for my liking...i like the 20k look...right now is more like a 14 k look...so i have brand new 460 nm PC lights that i was going to use to supplement MH but i went with leds instead..i. think they are 50 W or so each so each..my only concernis if too muchblue will actually block or in some way interfere with actual PAR in other words will blue lights over power the white lights to the point it affect thetotal light penetration
