Is that an Aqua C Remora? I might be in the market to buy one soon if you decide to sell it.

i will sell it as soon as i find a bigger one, thaat skimmer came on a 55g, ive upgraded to a 75g, its doing fine i get about 2in a week, im not for sure how to adjust it, nick did it for me at the meeting i had back in nov, i have to clean the tube out alot, so its fine, im just gettin a lot of corals & i need to keep the water clean enough, i talking to this guy on RC who has a typhoon for $60 shipped, any one no about that brand? how come no one hasnt snached it up by now,

i order from them, its just i try to see if any of the members have one to sell first, if im buying used i know i can trust the poeple here, i may have to buy new, if i cant find one soon,

I have a deltec mce600 HOB I am willing to sell for $200.

It costs about $460 new, and it's a great skimmer, perfect for a 75. I used it alone on my 120 fish / live rock tank.

Check out the Deltec forum on this site.

That's going to be a large jump from what you have. You may have been been bitten by the " If a little is good ,more must be better" bug . Due to the focused nature of HQI reflectors the 250s may be a problem for your present animals if you're not careful.

barrett told me to put some screen on top, three layers, then every week pull off one layer,i could all so change bulbs to 175w if i need to, cant i, or dose that light just fit 250w?

Your gonna need to have another meeting at your house so we can see the changes in your tank. Yours was the first meeting I came to.

No you can't and no it does not.

Also you can cut down the amount of time you keep on the lights and slowly increase. On that same note I am about to change my bulbs from XM 15K to XM 10K. Would cutting the photoperiod down to about 4 hours a day for the first week and increasing it by one hour a week until I hit my usual photoperiod be alright? Or do I need to do more to not bleech my corals?

i hope your asking dave, i dont even know how to set my timer, i did just turn them on when i left for work, then off at might, but im gone to long for me to leave the 250w on all day, nicks coming by saturday ill see if he can set them,
