Does anybody want a free brain?

Pictures in my gallery.

I feel I'm over my head with this coral, it was healthy for 3 weeks. Then I skimped on the feeding and it started looking stressed. I've done a lot of research and I've read threads where people have said that alot of times brains just start loosing their health for no apparent reason.

If you have a pristine tank and you honestly think you can keep this guy healthy then that's all I want. I could give it back to the LFS for free but who knows if it will go to a dedicated person to keep it healthy.

I know some of you might have seen my thread about quiting the hobby. I've decided not to give up yet. But this brain has to go. I'm not changing my mind on that. If you come by and think it is in relatively good health and not a lost cause, and you think it's worth something. I'll take anything. Will even consider giving it away for free if noone is willing to pay for it.

REASON: I'm just not ready for brains. I'm stickin to leathers, polyps, and shrooms.

I'm in west chicago, real close man. Feel free to come by and take a look at it and ask me anything. PM me for details.

Does anybody want a free brain?

So many jokes...so little time.........

:D

Brain is free to a good home. First person to PM and set up a time for sunday gets it.

You should know this guy needs a dedicated person who has experience with brains. Because he has been a little puffy and red in spots. And if what I read about brownish coming out of the mouths meaning expelling zooanthelae, then he's done that a little too. Looks like he's slowly giving up.

If you honestly think you have VERY GOOD living conditions for him, and think you can help him get better. Then he's free to you. Just PM details about your lights, tank size, and your experience with brains. I will pick who sounds the most likely to succeed.

Maby you should have a brain to get a brain ;).

Had to say it . Gl gettin rid of it, if anything have some one hold on to it for you that you know will take care of it until you think you and your tank are ready to keep it.

Na, just want someone to take him home. maybe send a frag my way later if the brain does well in your tank. I notice my clowns hanging around it so maybe that's one of the main stress factors of the brain.

That would deff. cause some problems. I had a hammer in my tank before that my tomatoe clown killed by hosting in it. If you would want to meet half way I would trade you for it, I have zoas, shrooms and a candy cane I can frag for you. If you would want to meet half way or do something like that I can, unless you find someone else closer to you that would want it. (I live in Crystal Lake).

I could while away the hours
confering with the flowers
consulting with the rain...

with the thoughts that I am thinkin'
I could be another Licoln
If I only had a brain..

I feel for ya, live and learn. I just gave away a $55 leather that was too big for my 6g tank. Well, still got 3 zoa frags for it, but it is good you are trying to find it a good home, that was my main concern with the leather.

I just gave away my brain (and please no more jokes :D). Thanks Ed, hope he does will in your tank?

When Ed was over I even saw on my my clowns snuggle into it violently, so that along with not getting enough lights, could be the major factors in why it wasn't doing so well.

glad to hear! I'm sure he'll be better with nicer lights and no clowns hosting in it! But sure to keep me updated, as I'd really like to know if it was just possibly my lack of light. I might venture to try to keep brains in the future.
