If so, how do you take pics of your tank? What settings do you use? I try a lot of things and my picture end up blurry half the time.
thanks in advance

I'm using the casio exilium and I use the macro settings which allow me to take close up pics.

Before I knew about the macro settings, everything was blurry if I took it up close, now things are extremely clear.

Here is a pic I just took

michaeldaly, yes I was using flash because it was a nighttime shot and I didn't have any bright lights on.

I'm still learning how to do things.

Can you tell me when I need to use flash, when I need to use soft flash, and when not to use flash?

Thanks
Mike

Mike- When taking pictures of a tank it is always better to take them when the tank lights are on. Taking pics after the lights have gone out, and using a flash, really washes out the colors of the corals.

Try to take most of your pics when the tank lights are on, you will get much better pics.

If you have to take a shot at night, don't use a flash. You will still get better color, even though not the best.
