I have this pendant hanging kit at home, but it comes with no instructions!

I have no idea which end is what - which end goes to the light, which end goes to the ceiling.

Can someone help? Thanks.

Bad link. The end with the outlet plug goes to the ceiling. The open end with the bare wires goes to the lamp.

Sorry, can you explain more in detail. I'm not shure what the outlet plug vs the open end is.
