Does anyone know where I can buy colonial tunicates?

Not to be a smart alleck, but after reading the title of your thread I assumed colonial was a common name for a particular species. so i started doing some reading, u do know they are quite invasive, considered extreme pest? im sure u have done some research, but i was wondering why u would want them?

I didn't know they were considered pests...
I've seen really cool pics of tunicates out in the wild, the LFS in my area has had them in the past...
I think they would be great to have and I'd like to see if I could keep them thriving...

Honestly, I think I'll have to cross my fingers and hope the LFS in my area get them as hitchhikers
No online source seems to sell them

Is this the type of colonial tunicates you are looking for? Here are 2 sp that I find regularly on the reefs near my home, I've tried several times to keep them but most fail to make it home healthy. What usually happens is the color is gone by the time I get home, and I have a good live well to keep my catch in, and use pumps on the transport buckets and I go from the boat home, usually only a stop for soda on the way home. The few that keep the color usually do ok for a few weeks, but not enough for me to keep trying so I don't collect them any longer. If someone out there knows a trick I would be willing to give it a shot, but as for getting them to other hobbyiests I don't want to kill any more until I can keep them alive and be sure the shipping wont kill them.
